In most cases, Netvoyager Linux based thin clients provide all the feature sets required of thin client deployments, but in certain circumstances, Windows® Embedded Standard based devices are required to cater for specific corporate applications which are developed for the Windows 32-bit based operating system.

Netvoyager Windows® Embedded Standard based thin clients comply with Microsoft Operating System standards and deliver the power of Windows XP Professional in a thin client.

Netvoyager Windows® Embedded Standard based thin clients provide a wide range of remote connectivity facilities, in addition to an embedded Internet Explorer with many plug-in options. The drivers for deploying Netvoyager Windows® Embedded Standard based thin clients include;

- Win32 API compatibility
- Identical Graphical User Interface Desktop as current Windows XP based desktops
- Internet Explorer, useful for corporate applications that require Microsoft specific web browsing experience with ActiveX technology support
- Partial .NET Framework support
- Local Win32 application execution

Netvoyager Embedded Standard thin clients provide enterprise networking, wireless support, rich multimedia, vast connectivity using USB and PCI technology, and web browsing. All Netvoyager thin clients offer high performance, easy management and a broad feature set at the lowest cost of ownership.

Supporting Citrix ICA, Microsoft RDP, VNC, X-Windows, VMWare and Ericom services as a minimum, offering all the traditional thin client benefits such as high security, centralised management & administration and vastly reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to desk-top PCs. The Netvoyager XP series thin clients runs on the same hardware platform as some of the other Netvoyager thin client products.

All Netvoyager thin clients are remotely manageable by our range of management software. This means you can implement server-based computing using one vendor and platform based on either Linux or Windows Embedded Standard operating systems, giving you the choice and investment protection.
